Topic: Focus on Goal Setting
Colossians 3:2 “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”
Welcome to 2018! Did you know that if you’re not standing for something, you will fall for anything? Let’s see the scripture, James 1:6b. Nobody wants to be tossed like the waves of the sea but this is exactly what happens when we do not set goals. There needs to be a target if we don’t want want to run aimlessly.
Far too many people make mistakes because they lack goals. Have a focused mind to set goals, short and long term alike, let God lead. Peace!
Talk to God: Be my guide, help me to focus and set goals in Jesus name, amen.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
I’m pleased to welcome you into a New Year filled with promises of God and fulfilment of great destinies. The Lord will position is best for His blessings and deepen us in His knowledge.
The theme for January 2017 is ‘Focus’. Our experience of God’s glory is without boundaries, even as His love for us is. However, we need to understand that every of God’s provision is only made possible within the domain of our focus on Him. Paul the Apostle prayed for the Ephesians in Chapter 3 verse 17 of that letter, that they may know the love of God which brings fullness. Our gaze must be fixed on God and His love which is the standard of all His acts to us.
This January, God wants to teach us about ‘Focus’, a needful element in our walk with Him. No doubt there is ‘everything’ to learn from Him if we must grow to be like Him and reign with Him, our ultimate goal.
God bless you as you follow this new theme, Focus.

Theme: Called, Justified, Glorified
Topic: Focusing on the Glory
Romans 8:35 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
As the journey of another year comes to an end today, God wants us to look back and reflect on the year as a whole. So many people had focus at its beginning, indeed, every new year comes with people’s new ‘resolution’ which fails even before the end of the first month.
Have you considered the question in this opening text? What could shift your focus from the eternal glory God has planned for you? Do you really want to give all for God and stand for Him? Make a decision now and stand with a focus. A blessed new year ahead!
Talk to God: Help me focus on you and your plans of Glory for me in Jesus name, Amen.

Theme: Called, Justified, Glorified
Topic: Don’t Settle for Less 2
Psalm 106:20 “Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.”
Psalm 16:4 expresses that sorrow will multiply for those seeking after gods. When you allow yourself to lust after the things of this world such that they become your gods it is to your detriment and the loss of glory.
God is the reward of those who seek Him truly (Gen 15:1) what happens when you let Him go for lesser things?! You definitely settle for exceeding lesser reward. Insist on the best, shalom.
Talk to God: I have no glory but in you God, help me to be conscious of this in my daily life in Jesus name, amen.
